Hugh Finnegan Loflin

LOFLIN, HUGH FINNIGAN, originally of Humble, Texas, 18 year Seattle resident passed on The Lords Day, March 7, 2010; survived by wife of 40 years, Gloria Louise Loflin of Seattle, WA; daughters: Jackie Monk (Wayne) of Portland, TX; Wendy Valdemar (Israel) of Humble, TX; step-children Daniel of Seattle, Margaret Callahan (Walter) of Wesley, Arkansas; Richard Swymeler(Penny) of Seattle; 11 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents Robert L. Loflin Sr. & Myrtle Hall Loflin; brothers, Rufus Marion, Robert Jr., George Grady & Walter William. Hugh proudly represented his country with 30 years of Naval Service and is a veteran of both the Korean & Viet Nam Wars. Memorial Mass to be held at St-Alphonsus Parish, Seattle, WA on Thursday, March 11, 2010 at 10:00 am; Final internment will be at Rosewood Cemetery alongside his parents in Humble, TX. (Special thanks to the excellent care provided by Dr. Joel Hagedorn, Dr. James Gordon, Service Alternatives, Ballard Care, Swedish Visiting Nurse Services, and the blessings provided by Father Dan Abalon of St-Alphonsus Parish, Seattle.)
